Russian Tea Time is a true hidden gem and a wonderful place to experience authentic Eastern European cuisine. From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed by a charming atmosphere that feels elegant, cozy, and full of tradition. The food was outstanding - rich, comforting, and beautifully prepared. Every dish tasted homemade, bringing back the kind of flavors that make you slow down and savor every bite. Of course, the tea selection is exceptional and perfectly complements the meal. The service was attentive and welcoming, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. Whether you're familiar with Russian and Eastern European cuisine or trying it for the first time, this restaurant offers a memorable dining experience. If you're looking for delicious food, a unique atmosphere, and a taste of authentic hospitality, Russian Tea Time is a place you won't want to miss.

What a delight to enjoy a meal here. Impecable service, beautiful decoration of the place, music selection and the food was very tasty as well. Tried the dumplings and the lamb, very tender and flavor on point. It is a peaceful break from the hectic city dynamics. The waiter was very polite and attentive without constantly checking on the table or being pushy as it often happens when in the US.

Very nice restaurant, super comfortable chairs and extremely quiet and relaxed. Service was excellent: very attentive and responsive servers. Food was so and so. My biggest disappointment was the tea service - we ordered the czars’ samovar but all we got was a little tiny white ceramic pot. The tea was good but nothing special. Rest of the food was a bit blunt and for the appetizer platter some of the elements seemed to have originated from jars and cans instead of being prepared fresh.

Some places just feel comforting the moment you walk in… Russian Tea Time is one of them. β˜•πŸ•―οΈ Cozy ambience, warm tea, elegant desserts, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes you want to stay for hours. Chicago needed more places like this. Cozy cafΓ©s/restaurants > loud trendy places every single time 😌

Very few Russian restaurants in general, and our first time at one. Its in a location very close to things in the tourist area. We split the tea and the tower of biscuits, sandwiches, and desserts. It was a fun brunch. They have very large menus with a lot of options, as well as an assortment of alcoholic drinks to choose from. The service was quick too. The dining room got a bit full at peak time, but still overall great. Good place to go before or after the art museum.
